The Story
From the Founder
I've lived in cities where I didn't know anyone.
New streets. New routines. Sometimes new languages.
But there was always one constant — the game.
Finding a pickup match became my way in. No introductions needed. No shared history required. Just a ball, a pitch, and ninety minutes that erased every difference.
Some of the strongest friendships in my life started on those fields. Teammates who didn't speak the same language became lifelong friends. Years later, in different countries and different seasons of life, that connection still holds.
As we've grown older, those same friends and I have found new ways to celebrate the game — planning annual trips around a match, choosing cities not just for the stadium, but for the culture surrounding it. The food. The people. The rhythm of the place. The shared anticipation before kickoff.
Football has been the connective tissue across every chapter of my life.
Must Love Futbol was built from those experiences.
Because wherever you land, there is a pitch waiting.
And if you love the game, you should always be able to find it — and find your place.
